A heroic team of ten emergency medical professionals sprang into action, working feverishly to save my life. With two epi-pens, multiple IVs, and my throat and face swelling, it was a harrowing battle against a severe anaphylactic allergic reaction.

On April 8th, 2021, I received my first COVID19 vaccination, and I’m sitting in the U OF W hospital; after receiving your shots waiting area, I started to feel peculiar. Ten minutes later, I am in the ED, surrounded by a team of ten emergency staffers working to save my life. Two epi-pens, three IVs in my arm, my throat, face are swollen, lungs closing. My body is in a FULL- blown anaphylactic allergic reaction. Three days later, I was released from the ICU unit in a wheelchair. Again, those essential workers saved my life. Hence the ESSENTIAL WORKER twenty painting.
